Tucked into the heart of Turin, Cafè Lagrange feels like the kind of place you discover once and keep returning to whenever you want a relaxed break from the busy streets of the city. Sitting in the elegant Piazza Giuseppe Luigi Lagrange, this espresso bar captures the easygoing rhythm of Italian café culture while still offering enough variety to suit different moods throughout the day. Whether you stop by for a quick espresso in the morning or settle in for cocktails later in the evening, the atmosphere stays welcoming and effortlessly stylish.
One of the first things people notice about Cafè Lagrange is its outdoor seating area. On sunny afternoons, the terrace becomes a comfortable spot to sip coffee while watching Turin move around you. The setting feels casual without losing that polished Italian charm. Inside, the space keeps a warm and social energy, making it equally suitable for solo visitors, small groups, or travelers looking for a quiet corner to recharge.
The menu keeps things flexible, which is part of the appeal. Coffee naturally plays a central role, and the espresso delivers the bold flavor many visitors hope to find in Italy. Alongside the café classics, guests can also enjoy cocktails, wine, beer, and hard liquor, making the venue feel lively from morning into the evening. For lighter dining, the restaurant offers small plates, healthy options, and quick bites that work well for anyone wanting something satisfying without committing to a heavy meal.
Another detail that makes Cafè Lagrange stand out is its convenience. Guests can choose dine-in service for a slower experience or takeout when exploring Turin on the go. Even during busier hours, the service often maintains a relaxed and friendly flow, which adds to the comfortable neighborhood feeling that makes the café easy to enjoy at almost any time of day.

The speed and efficiency of the staff is amazing and a joy to watch. In a tiny space, they move as one clearing cups, unloading dishwasher, making coffee, serving customers, sharing jokes and smiling. While making coffee the barista watches the door, catches your eye and takes your order.
The three girls working there at the time we arrived (03.03.2026 - 8.30 AM) were very polite, energetic and professional. The food was great and interesting (the pistachio croissant I would rate 7/10, otherwise all of the rest was very nice) The staff attitude was welcoming and warm
Super welcoming staff! Friendly and efficient! My coffee was delicious (oat milk cappuccino)! What else could you ask for?
